This research hopes specifically to appreciate the role of common development funds towards capacity building of communities. By gathering the information, the study is designed to achieve the following objectives: 1- To determine the profile of the respondents in term of age, gender and education level; 2- To know the perceptions of the respondents on common development funds decentralization on capacity building for improvement of infrastructure project in term of community power, community authority, community participation, community decision making and CDFs financial support; 3- To know perceptions of the respondents on capacity building offered to the communities for improvement of infrastructure project in term of skills training, infrastructure planning, infrastructure monitoring, infrastructure evaluation and infrastructure implementation; 4- To establish the relationship between common development fund and capacity building for improvement of infrastructure to the communities; 5- To give some recommendations where there are weaknesses based on the research findings.
