Multiphase Flow in Pipe Cyclonic Separator presents recent investigation on the behaviour of gas and liquid in a compact separator operating based on centrifugal force principles. Electrical resistance tomography (ERT), wire mesh sensor (WMS) and pressure transducer were used in an innovative way to acquire data on flow behaviour as well as separator performance. The data and analysis presented in this book can be use by equipment vendors and operating companies to gain understanding on how to design and operate the compact separator in an oil field and process plant.

Dr Sunday Kanshio is a Process Flow Assurance Consultant. He obtained PhD and MSc in Process Systems Engineering from Cranfield University, UK. He hold B.Eng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from FUT.Yola, Nigeria. He has several years of experience in the petroleum industry and presently a Senior Consultant at KNFlow Consultants.
