A product/assembly of substantial length and relativity small cross section, consisting of fibres and/or Filament(s). The aforesaid definition clearly shows two main possibility of making a fibre assembly known as the yarn. a) By twisting the fibres together b) By any other mean then twisting The Yarn manufacturing by twisting the fibres or filaments is the oldest and still most widely used method. Despite of the development of new spinning techniques, the traditional manufacture of yarn with the use of ring spinning frames is still applied 1. In the process of ring spinning the yarn is made by twisting the fibre together. This clearly indicates that the mainstream breed of textile yarns is made by twisting, both fibres or/ and filaments.
