Aid relationships between donors and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) remain crucial in the delivery of humanitarian and development assistance. Specifically, in conflict countries, the selection of NGOs by donors is often influenced by a complex and rapidly changing context as well aid politics. This book seeks to explore what determines the selection of NGO partners by donors in Somalia and what this tell us about the wider politics of donor-NGO relations in Somalia and other conflict affected contexts.
