Beschreibung
The concept of regional development was introduced to the economic literature for the first time after World War II. However, this concept maintains its popularity as it is among the common problems of both developed and developing countries. The transformation that started in regional development policies in the 1980s with the use of new regional development policy instruments, continued in the 1990s due to the increase in the importance given to regions and development via internal dynamics of regions. For this reason, the concepts on region and region types in EU and in Turkey, the theoretical framework of regional development, regional development institutions, as well as fiscal and other policies and regional development agencies in Turkey and some succesful applications of Regional development agencies in EU are touched on in the book.
Autorenporträt
She was born in Ankara. She completed undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees at Gazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. She still works at the same faculty. She lectures on Turkish Tax System. The author has many academic studies on Fiscal Law, Fiscal Policies, Fiscal Psychology-Sociology. She is married with a son.
