We live in the times rich in new technical achievements. It contributes to the information revolution associated with decision-making processes. You can notice phenomena whose meaning is compared by some scientists to the greatest inventions. There is no doubt that the process of computerization and automation of data processing is irreversible, opening to the person greater, more perfect possibilities of action. The aim of the monograph is to present issues related to the decision-making process, highlight factors affecting this process and artificial intelligence tools that support this process.

Prof. Marian KOPCZEWSKI, researcher at the University of Land Forces in Wroclaw. He lectures national security and crisis management. In his research, he focuses on the analysis and assessment of the possibility of using IT in management and national security systems including military areas.
