'Quality of Work Life(QWL)of Women employees in Banking Sector' talks about the concept of Quality of work Life or more often referred as 'QWL', its indicators, measurement and assessment. This book is primarily research based. An attempt is made to show the level of 'QWL' in a most familiar service industry, i.e. banking. To measure 'QWL' ten components were considered. They are Nature of job, Compensation of Employees, Safe and Healthy working conditions, Opportunity for Growth and Development,Social integration in the Work force, constitutionalism in the banks, Occupational Stress, Participation in Management, Grievance Handling and social Relevance of work.This Book seeks to shed some light on how employees can manage the ever increasing demands of work and personal life and also aims at finding out the stress level of bank employees. Further this book also analyzes problems faced by women bank employees and impact of 'QWL'. The Authors had personal talks with bank employees and their experiences,problems and opinions are illustrated throughout the book giving it a personal touch. An easy flow of language is used throughout the book for the convenience of reader.

Dr.P.SRIRENGANAYAKI is an Assistant Professor of Commerce, C.B.M.College, Coimbatore,India. She has authored three Books and published many articles. Dr.A.Jayakumar is a Professor of Commerce and former controller of examinations of Periyar University,Salem,India. He has authored six Books and published many research articles in reputed journals.
