Autorenporträt

Michael S. Tomczyk is an innovator, entrepreneur, futurist, and an expert on radical/disruptive innovation. He is best known for his role in the development and launch of the first home computers at Commodore in the 1980s. As a corporate executive, consultant, and product manager, he has been involved in numerous world-changing innovations including biosciences, ecommerce, gene therapy, nanotechnology and most recently Fintech and Blockchain innovations. In addition to practicing innovation, Michael has been a leader in developing and studying best practices and strategies for developing and managing radical/disruptive innovations. For 18 years he was Managing Director of the Mack Institute for Innovation Management and Emerging Technologies Management Research Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Michael has written more than 150 articles, newspaper, and magazine columns. He has authored two books, The Home Computer Wars: An Insiders Account of Commodore and Jack Tramiel (1984), and NanoInnovation: What Every Manager Needs to Know (2014).
