In our post-industrial society, the individual being has become the focus of attention. This is also reflected in the recent trend of organizations towards the development of strategies for corporate social responsibility. Consequently, researchers have also put a stronger focus on the human capital component of corporate success. This work examines the positive influence leadership competences have on employee's job satisfaction and work engagement to promote a healthy work environment.
