Samuel O Idowu is a senior lecturer in Accounting and Corporate Social Responsibility at the Guildhall School of Business and Law, London Metropolitan University where he is currently the course leader for the MSc Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability and Advanced Diploma in Professional Development (ADPD) Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability. Samuel is a Professor of CSR and Sustainability at Nanjing University of Finance & Economics, China. He is a fellow member of the Chartered Governance Institute, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Governance Institute and a named freeman of the City of London. He is the President and Deputy CEO of the Global Corporate Governance Institute an international network of CSR scholars. Samuel has published over fifty articles in both professional and academic journals and contributed chapters in several edited books and is the Editor-in-Chief of three major global reference books by Springer - the Encyclopedia of Corporate Social Responsibility (ECSR), the Dictionary of Corporate Social Responsibility (DCSR) and the Encyclopaedia of Sustainable Management (ESM) and he is a Series Editor for Springers CSR, Sustainability, Ethics and Governance books. Samuel is an Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Corporate Social Responsibility and the American Journal of Economics and Business Administration. Samuel has been in academia for more than 30 years winning one of the Highly Commended Awards of Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence in 2008 and 2014. In 2010, one of his edited books was placed in 18th position out of forty top Sustainability books by Cambridge University Programme for Sustainability Leadership and in 2016 one of his books won the outstanding Business Reference Book of the year of the American Library Association. In 2018 he won a CSR Leadership Award in Cologne, Germany and in 2019 he won the 101 Most Impactful CSR Leaders Award in Mumbai, India. Samuel is on the Editorial Advisory Boards of the International Journal of Business Administration and Amfiteatru Economic Journal. He has been researching in the field of CSR since 1983 and has attended and presented papers at several national and international conferences and workshops on CSR. Samuel has made a number of keynote speeches at international conferences and workshops and written the foreword to a number of leading books in the field of CSR and Sustainable Development. And he has examined on a few PhD theses in the UK, Australia, South Africa, the Netherlands and New Zealand. René Schmidpeter is Professor at BFH Bern (Switzerland) and research scientist at the interdisciplinary academic faculty of the Parmenides Foundation in Munich. He is guest professor/lecturer in Germany, Austria, China, USA, India, Australia and England as well as series editor for Springers CSR, Sustainability, Ethics & Governance book series, editor of the Encyclopedia of Sustainable Management (ESM) and editor of the Dictionary of Corporate Social Responsibility (DCSR). His research and teaching activities focus on sustainable business transformation, international perspectives on sustainability, social innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship with special focus on the relationship between business and society. René serves as an expert and keynote speaker in many academic, economic and political steering committees as well as sustainability advisory boards. He is Vice President of the Global Corporate Governance Institute (GCGI) and Founder of M3TRIX / TETRANOMICS in Cologne and Munich, Germany. Nicholas Capaldi is Legendre-Soulé Distinguished Chair in Business Ethics at Loyola University New Orleans, where he also serves as Director of the Center for Spiritual Capital. He is the founder and President of the Global Corporate Governance Institute. He received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. His principal research and teaching interest is in public policy and its intersection with political science, philosophy, law, religion, and economics. He is the author of 8 books, over 100 articles, editor of ten anthologies, member of the editorial board of six journals, and has served as editor of Public Affairs Quarterly. He is Associate Editor of the Encyclopedia of Corporate Social Responsibility (Springer). His most recent book is Liberty and Equality in Political Economy: From Locke versus Rousseau to the Present. He is the author of the Cambridge intellectual biography John Stuart Mill. Currently, he is writing a book tentatively entitled the Anglo-American Conception of the Rule of Law. Liangrong Zu is a specialist in corporate social responsibility, corporate social entrepreneurship, business ethics and sustainability. He has been working for the United Nations and central government for about 20 years. Currently he is a senior program officer for enterprise development, teaching and doing research at International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ILO). Dr. Zu holds a PhD in business and management from Nottingham University Business School, specializing in corporate social responsibility, sustainable enterprise development and social entrepreneurship. Mara Del Baldo is Associate Professor of Financial Accounting and Economics of Sustainability and Accountability at the University of Urbino (Italy), Department of Economics, Society and Politics, School of Economics. Her main research interests include, among others: Corporate Social Responsibility, entrepreneurs and SMEs business ethics; territorial responsibility; SMEs strategies of qualitative development and networking strategies; social and environmental accounting, financial reporting, integrated reporting and accounting and gender. She was Visiting professor at the University of Vigo (Spain), Department of Finances and Accounting, the New Bulgarian University of Sofia (Bulgaria), the Jurai Dobrila University of Pula (Croatia), the Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary), The University of Craiova (Romania). She lectured on invitation in various Italian and foreign conferences and universities. Mara is a member of several Italian (including SIDREA, AIDEA and SISR) and international scientific associations: European Council for Small Business - ECSB -, Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research - CSEAR - University of St Andrews, the SPES Institute (Spirituality in Economics and Society, Leuven - Belgium), the CRIMPI (Research Centre on Entrepreneurship and Small-medium firms (Italy), the AFECA (Association des Formations Européennes à la Comptabilité et à lAudit), the Italian Network on Business Reporting (NIBR) and the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN Italy). Moreover, she is a member of the academic advisory committee in the Global Corporate Governance Institute (USA) and Global network member of Corporate Governance Experts Global Repository (Virtuesinterpress).
