Beschreibung
The text presents a qualitative case study regarding cooperation between a music school and its environment. The theoretical part is based on a study of scholarly literature pertaining to primary and secondary education. The empirical part focuses on music education, more precisely on cooperation of a selected music school with various participants: parents, the municipality as the co-founder, and cultural institutions. Case study examines the significance and forms of cooperation and the role the head teacher has in cooperation of the selected music school with its environment.
Autorenporträt
Martina Prevejsek is an academic musician and a voice teacher. She graduated in singing at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She completed a scientific master's studies of management at the Faculty of management Koper. She was a president of Slovenian voice teachers association-DSPP. She works as a voice teacher in Music school Sevnica.
