In a knowledge-based society, knowledge is the most important resource for a successful development of society, politics and economy. The publication is intended to contribute to a stronger establishment of the scientific discussion regarding small and medium-sized enterprises and their handling of knowledge and learning. In particular, the focus is to be placed on the value of crafts in the knowledge-based economy of today and tomorrow.
