Decision-makers have always tried to allocate resources in the most efficient way, in order to achieve the goal of social efficiency. Cost-benefit analysis (CBA) is an economic technique that produces information intended to improve the quality of public policies, measuring the impacts of a project on the society as a whole, in which every stakeholder matters. Improving quality means in a sense to enhance total social welfare that a policy conveys to society. Here we focus on Bologna and its road price scheme. Has it been a success or not?

Born in Faenza in 1985. Passioned about Economics, Environment and Finance. I studied in Bologna, wonderful city to which i dedicate this book. My personal path brought me to Spain, Australia and England where i had the opportunity to live, study, work and where i had great experiences.
