Beschreibung

This book is aimed at examining the impact of microfinance on entrepreneurial development of micro, small and medium scale enterprises. The study centered on two broad variables: the dependent variable which is entrepreneurial development and the independent variable which is microfinance institutions. Five different hypotheses were formulated and tested using the chi-square(X2) test, respectively. Findings revealed that: there is a significant relationship between the contributions of microfinance activities and sustainable development, there is a correlation between microfinance activities and capital accessibility, there is a significant relationship between microfinance activities and entrepreneurs awareness; and that there is a positive correlation between microfinance and persistent collapse of MSMEs. It was recommended majorly that: managerial financing functions of any organization should improve on their activities by sourcing for more alternative funding than loans from banks so that SME's can benefit more; and that business owners should consider alternative funding first, before thinking of external support from banks.
