This book includes a new model of early activities of FEI documenting an architecture which shows how the system components work together. The system is a conceptual approach from theories of emergent strategy formation, opportunity identification and creation, interpretation-analysis-experimentation process and present FEI theories. The FEI platform is a practical concept useful and beneficial to companies with possibility to configure the system suitable for their needs, resources, different types of innovation, and competitive situation of the market. The platform offers procedures to better understand the total FEI chain of activities. This is the first study into the origins of innovation solely focusing attention on the beginning of FEI.
Autorenporträt
Jyrki Peltomaa received his qualification of Doctor of Science (Technology) from the Lappeenranta University of technology in Finland. He has 17 years of experience in Finnish plastic industry and 12 years of experience in innovation studies. He has also worked in the Centre of Expertise -programs in Finland for 6 years.
