Jakarta has grown rapidly in many aspects. One of them is social life in public settlement policy which gives impact to eradication of slum areas. Many flats are built and provided to those who become the target of that program. Its called Rusunawalow cost simple flat. However, new social problems emerge like adaptation matter: changing habits from previous location to new situation. Crashed by new systemsuch as paying room regularly every month meanwhile having no permanent job/work yetgives seriously impact until now. Besides that, losing home also keep them traumatic. In such situation, not all people can change their way of life rapidly till some womendriven by high awarenessstruggling to change the community decisively by various sustainable efforts. Therefore, this book discusses role of women in struggling transformation within their community.
