This book aims to account for the reception, treatment and sometimes, eventual deportation, of asylum seekers in Ireland, by analysing how they are framed and dealt with by the Irish state. Stephen Quilley is Associate Professor of Social and Ecological Innovation in the Department of Environment and Resource Studies, Director of Development for the Waterloo Institute for Complexity and Innovation (WICI) and core faculty for the Waterloo Institute for Social Innovation and Resilience (WISIR) at the University of Waterloo, Canada.
