Mobbing in higher education institutions is still a taboo topic, and some victims never talk about it, just like victims of family violence. Usually, primary mobbers are highly positioned and therefore protected from public conviction and appropriate legal sanctions. Unfortunately, mobbing may end up with suicide of victim. For this reason, I thank the editors of the Sociological Review and the GlobeEdit for recognizing the importance of the taboo topic.

Biljana Maluckov was born in Leskovac, Republic of Serbia. She finished Faculty of Technology in Leskovac, University of Nis. PhD degree she was obtained at Technical Faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade. The author's fields of interest are enzymology, biotechnology, environmental engineering, sociology and psychology.
