The essays collected here "come" from speeches at conferences / congresses and conferences (as well as research reports) held both in their home university and in other universities in Italy and abroad, interventions later reworked in essay form and accompanied bibliographically.And, indeed, these are issues partially addressed previously in other texts (as posters) or research topics in the fully realized, new issues, "postponed" (both in terms of time as in the semiotic sense) to broader insights. The essays in this book are trying to give a viewpoint on the structural and normative framework of the organization (and,consequently,for the organizing) aimed at overcoming the effects and the values of the intangible assets (as culture,communication,knowledge,ecc.), analizing in details the importance of those elements in the organizationlife,including the role of new technologies,the creativity and others social and cultural components.

Pierfranco Malizia,PhD, is professor of Sociology at the Department of Economical and Political Sciences at the LUMSA University in Rome (IT), visiting professor at the ISCEM in Lisboa (PT) and at the UNISINOS of Porto Alegre (BRA); is also performing many activities of research,conferences and seminars in different countries.
