Nepal is a third world country, where the impact of globalization is clearly visualized. This is the book which put light on several micro issues of society and its dimension. The impact of globalization in the rural setting of Nepal is studied and clearly illustrated in this book. The social, economic, religious and cultural changes occur in the village of Nepal due to globalization is elaborated and research is done in micro level. More than 52 household of a village are researched to examine the changes brought by globalization. The research is carried out in both qualitative and quantitative way. The change of people perception towards sex in recent years and the change of social norms and values are also clearly described in this book. The trend of decreasing Hinduism followers and the increase of Christianity in Nepal is clearly described with reasons and data from Research. The effect of International labor migration and Remittance is also clearly described.

Pratap Sharma, born in Daraun-06 Syangja, Nepal, has completed his Master's degree in Sociology from Trichandra college under the affiliation of Tribhuvan university in 2016. He has done BSC in Microbiology in the faculty of Science and technology in 2012. He has gained 2nd Dan in Taekwondo from Kukiwon, South Korea. He is a writer and journalist.
