Beschreibung
The elaboration of the volume at hand originated in the desire to meet all those - students, master-degree students, researchers, public servants, local elected officials or mere citizens, as active members of the local collectivities they are part of - who wish to know, going into depth, the study of the organization and functioning of local public administration in Romania. The red line of the volume is along the coordinates of applying at the national level of the fundamental principle at the basis of the administration of local collectivities, specific to democratic countries and states of law, namely, local autonomy.

Professors at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) from Bucharest, Romania. Contributors' relevant experience in the field of public administration and law. Large professional experience in central and local public administration, also in teaching and researching in higher education in Romania.
