The author is a Deputy Director of Civil and Political Rights at the Malawi Human Rights Commission. He has taught law at ShareWorld University (Malawi). He has a Postgraduate Certificate in Legislative Drafting obtained from Ghana School of Law, and an LLB (Hons)Degree obtained from the University of Malawi.
