'International Criminal Jurisdiction Under the Soviet Union: the USSR's Contribution to the Nuremberg Trial of Major War Criminals' The study examines the influence of the Soviet Union and its central figures throughout the preparatory and implementation stages of the Nuremberg trial against major war criminals. Based on findings from archival sources, the study analyzes the Soviet contribution to the genesis of the IMT statute, the preparation of the indictment, and the obtaining of evidence. Thereupon, the study focuses on the Soviet role in the trial hearings and, finally, the process of determining the final verdict.
