Beschreibung
'Dimensions of the Duty of Loyality in Civil Service Law': Art. 33 (4) of the Basic Law provides that civil servants stand in a relationship of service and loyalty defined by public law. Central elements of this loyalty relationship are the loyalty to the Constitution, the duty of neutrality, the duty of moderation and restraint in political activity, the general duty of good conduct, and the prohibition to strike. This work examines whether there is a need for a reform of the statutory provisions on these dimensions of the duty of loyalty.
