'The Revision of the Political Party Ban': The subject of the study is the German Federal Constitutional Courts interpretation of the political party ban in its judgment from 2017 regarding the NPD ban proceeding. This decision has set new standards in several aspects, both for the interpretation of the elements of the party ban provision and for the future application of this instrument. Based on the foregoing, the author comprehensively examines the formal and material requirements for party bans, including the implications resulting therefrom.

Dominik Pokora studierte Rechtswissenschaften an der Technischen Universität Dresden, der Karls-Universität Prag sowie der Universität Leipzig. Nach Abschluss des Referendariats am Oberlandesgericht Dresden nahm er 2017 parallel zum Beginn des Promotionsvorhabens seine Tätigkeit als Rechtsanwalt in einer internationalen Wirtschaftskanzlei in Dresden auf.
