This book focuses on a compilation of notable case law on the judgment of Courts in Nigeria and some foreign Courts on all issues affecting the enforcement of fundamental rights of citizens. In this volume, there are a total of five chapters, with the last chapter being dedicated to some landmark cases from foreign Courts. Each chapter opens with an introductory overview of the legal principles involved. The author has painstakingly selected the reported cases and materials for their substantial value to legal practice and each is preceded by the issues of law to which it is relevant.
Autorenporträt
Chief Frank Agbedo, Notary Public for Nigeria, was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1988 after his graduation from University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus in 1987. He effectively combines law practice with public interest advocacy and writing legal literature. He is also the Executive Director, Global Centre for Defence of Human Rights, Lagos.
