Beschreibung
'Albert Hänel (1833-1918). Life and Work': This book is dedicated to the rehabilitation of Albert Hänel, who has unjustly been almost forgotten. It sheds light on the importance of the professor and politician as a parliamentarian, state theorist and non-positivist, as well as a pioneer of the rule of law and democratization. This book not only illuminates Hänel's significance for political left-liberalism and German constitutional law, but also proves the continuing relevance of his work.
