The 'Großraumtheorie' from Carl Schmitt in Comparison to the East-Asian Understanding of International Public Law Carl Schmitts 'Großraumtheorie' criticizes public international law and tries to design a new hierarchical state order. Contemporarily to this publication a hieararchical state order was also propagated in japan. Conversely this was related to the sinocentric order that existed for millenia. The author tries to analyze these three models of public international law and to assess if there are similarities in their respective genesis and theory.

Muwon Hong ist 1985 in Würzburg geboren und zog 1994 nach Pusan, Südkorea. 2004 absolvierte er die Daewon Foreign Language Highschool in Seoul. Von 2004 bis 2009 studierte er Rechtswissenschaften in Würzburg und legte dort die Erste juristische Staatsprüfung ab. Nach dem Referendariat am LG Würzburg legte er 2011 die Zweite juristische Staatsprüfung ab. Seit 2011 ist er als Rechtsanwalt in einem global agierenden Konzern im Bereich Unternehmensrecht, Exportkontroll-und Sanktionsrecht tätig. 2019 hat er zum Thema 'Die Großraumtheorie von Carl Schmitt im Vergleich mit dem ostasiatischen Völkerrechtsverständnis' bei Prof. Dr. Horst Dreier, Würzburg promoviert.
