Beschreibung
Lethal autonomous weapons systems and other new technologies pose fundamental challenges to arms control. How do state positions on their regulation emerge, and what role do domestic political actors and processes play in this? This book analyses parliamentary control approaches in a dynamic political field and highlights the areas of tension that exist between technological development, normative guard rails and the ability to act in foreign policy.
