Social innovation can be promoted through the collaboration among business, civil society and government, thus, collaborative governance. The venue may be a social entrepreneurship which articulates a company's corporate social responsibility. As the social enterprise sustains, the focus can move on to creating shared values for all participants or stakeholders. This book, describes MIRATECH Korea's social enterprise in Ligao City, Philippines, its organizational background, values created to the host community, the sponsoring business company and the government. It explored the role the local government could perform to assist the social enterprise and designed a conceptual model of collaborative governance for social innovation. It is considered useful to local government officials, company managers, social enterprise leaders, and academicians.

Dr. Bernaldez is currently a professor emeritus at Dongguk University-Gyeongju College of Social Sciences and researches on various fields such as international politics, comparative public administration, social innovation, governance, e-government, climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction and management, pedagogy, etc.
