The purpose of this book is to provide a comprehensive and up-to date information of Web Multimedia Research. Simplicity and stepwise flow with sufficient description and clear diagrams is the feature of this book.This book includes the importance of the computers in education and research. It gives review of distance education, learning theories/styles in educational systems, study of existing instructional media, multimedia research and educational software design, main functions of educational software, new elearning environment and use of multimedia in different delivery modes LAN, Internet etc. Research methodology includes statistical procedures, sampling methods, implementation strategy, hypothesis study and the tools used to study the effectiveness of packages. It give the principles used in development of multimedia software and the developmental steps of web based multimedia packages. It describes the different models of communication and instructional design. It also briefly explains the computer and network communication. Web Multimedia Research book would be beneficial to teachers, formal and non-formal learners, who are in pursuit of knowledge.

Vijay S.Kale (MSc,MPhil,PhD,PGDIM,ADCSSA) is Asso.Prof.at KTHM College,Nashik,Maharashtra,India since 29 years and presented papers in USA, Bangkok. He published his research in national and international journals. He received R.Chandrasekhar award from IPA,SPPU,Pune. He worked as BOS member presently Ad-hoc Voc BOS member. He written five books.
