This work is a well-researched piece on the relevance of media and communication in the work of civil society organizations (CSOs), focusing the experiences of CSOs in The Gambia. The Gambia is the smallest country on mainland Africa, with a very dynamic civil society that is contributing enormously to the transformation of lives, communities and the nation. This piece of work is useful for actors or persons interested in media and communication in general, but most especially for persons in development and communication for development (C4D).
