This study of prof. Lachezar Georgiev PhD presents aspects, problems and trends in the complex process of communication between author, publisher, literary agent, contracts between author and publisher, based on Bulgarian and international publishing practice. Presented are also trends in the printed communications in the world; the inevitable commercialization of publishing business is another new challenge on a global scale.
