Social and economic factors combine to engender obstetric fistula incidences in Nigeria. This begs the question: How has communication intervened? Dr. Chinedu Christian Odoemelam teaches communication and Media studies at the Igbinedion University, Okada, Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria.
