The purpose of choosing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) as the research topic is that both technologies are essential parts of advanced wireless communications systems to cater to the needs of high data rate, efficient spectrum utilization and reliable error-free communication.
