Beschreibung
"Animating with Kenyan Sign Language" aims to tailor design principles for animated works made in sign language; focusing on Kenyan Sign Language (KSL). Further, this book ties that focus towards the ideal design principles within animation pedagogy. Readers of this book will gain helpful insight into building deaf learners cognition. This book grew from the authors discovery of the nuanced motions carrying far more weight in signed animation than the conventional counterpart. Sign language, from an animators perspective, posed an exciting opportunity to animate a story founded entirely on a visual language.
