Durch ein Nahtoderlebnis veränderte sich das Leben der Autorin schlagartig. Das, was sie in diesem Moment wahrnahm war nicht weniger real, als das was unser aller Leben ausmacht. Doch kaum wieder im Körper zurück, konnte sie das so eben erfahrene nicht mehr sehen, nicht mehr fühlen, nicht mehr hören. Wie ein Ruf von der anderen Seite, begab sie sich ab diesem Ereignis auf den Weg, die Antworten zu finden, warum wir diese auch existierende Realität mit unseren körperlichen Sinnen nicht wahrnehmen können und vor allem, was und wer dort auf uns wartet.
