Architecture can do more than just build houses - it can shape social change. This book demonstrates how buildings can become catalysts for energy transition, mobility transition, and climate adaptation when they are thought of as part of a larger whole: as places that generate energy, promote interaction, and flexibly combine uses. Solving the Great Transformation on a Small Scale impressively shows how a farm in a small village becomes a model for the world of tomorrow - a place where solutions for climate protection, education, innovation, clean energy, and sustainable communities are already being put into practice today.
