An attempt to turn around the traditional structure of language education. One does not start learning a language with the written text, the text of a lecture and the optical perception of letters through the eye, but rather by hearing words through the ear.
Autorenporträt
The author is a former French teacher. He experienced that even the senior students in the advanced French classes were virtually incapable of active speech. The students could read, translate, and write down almost flawless dictations. However, they experienced great difficulty talking about the texts in French.
