Autorenporträt
Darlene Clark started out young as a victim of violent abuse. She walked in fear wondering if this was the day they would kill her. Darlene grew up with a lot of childhood memories covered like a ton of bricks saturated with tar. After getting away from the abuse, her memories started flooding in. It presented itself in horrifying nightmares and flashbacks. Many years later, Darlene rose above it. She now sees the light at the end of the tunnel. She has injuries stemmed from the past. She has learned to deal with that on a daily basis. Darlene is now out of the tunnel. She finally sees the light after the darkness had blanketed her core for many years. Darlene is finally triumphant. She wrote this book hoping to help others in similar situations and to shed light to others who do not understand abuse. To teach others not to judge, but help other.
