This study includes the bio-mechanical analysis of the technique of straddle roll in high jump. Successful accomplishment of this study was a result of exhaustive efforts, thoughtful discussion, critical reviews of literature and the systematic methodologies in administering the tests. This study may help the researchers in the field of physical education in conducting further studies in this area.

Miss Sonamoni Kumari is presently working in the Indian High School, Dubai. Before this she have also worked in D.P.S and G.D. Goenka School in India. She has obtained B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed from L.N.U.P.E. Gwalior and cleared National Eligibility Test conducted by U.G.C. in India. Her area of interest includes bio-mechanics and sports training.
