Beschreibung
The main aim of this work is to give an insight into the activity profile of a surfer during one hour of recreational surfing. While ´Theoretical Part- I and -II´ provide the reader with the necessary background information needed to understand this papers underlying thesis, ´Experimental Part- III´ is dedicated to the study conducted on ´Activity Profiling during 1h of Recreational Surfing´. Therefore, this paper intends to shed light on the physiological demands put on surfers during one hour of recreational surfing.

Mag. M. Eisner, state certified Swimming Instructor, ISA and NARS certified Surfing Instructor/ Lifeguard, studied Physical Education and English at the KF- University of Graz. His years at the University of Western Sydney and the Universidad de Las Palmas de G.C. were used to prepare and write this paper and to conduct the integrated study.
