Poverty is a state of livelihood. That doesn't mean that poor people should accept that fact as their fate. To reduce poverty government of Bangladesh and various NGOs are working on it. This book implies the current scenario of socio-economical and legal crisis of Bangladesh. Besides this writing also represents the pros and cons of newly executed Bangladesh government budget of 2014-2015 fiscal years, also proposed some ideas & strategies to overcome the state of poverty.

Khurshid Jahan earned her LL.B & LL.M from Dhaka University, Bangladesh with excellent academic record. After post graduation she started teaching as a lecturer at City University of Bangladesh. Along with teaching she likes to research on social & legal issues.
