This work analyses the concept "Human Rights" from a legal point of view. Further analysis is made on the history behind human rights legal instruments, the contents of those legal instruments and Institutions created for supervising Human Rights at International, Regional and National levels. The Book also explains the practices in each level as to how supervision of human rights are carried out by those bodies/institutions entrusted with the mandate to supervise Human Rights.

Mr. Ignatus Barongo is currently an Assistant Lecturer in Law at St. Augustine University of Tanzania Mtwara Center. He has taught and is still teaching at different occasions; Constitution Law, Human Rights Law, Land Law, Comparative International Law, Law of Torts, Legal Drafting and Moot Court Practice and Legal Research Methodology.(LL.B, LL.M)
