Beschreibung

Lay Leadership Development in the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe, describes Leadership inequalities in the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe decision making structures. The key issue addressed in the book is that lay Leadership is not sufficiently represented in the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe Leadership Decision Making structures. This book explores the phenomenon of exclusion of the laity in church leadership structures in the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe from various dimensions, Shona or African culture, missionary approach in Zimbabwe, various church traditional views on church leadership, biblical interpretations on Old and New Testaments. It is a must read book for Christians from all walks of life and a an eye-opener to the realities faced by women and youth around us. The male Christian clergy in church leadership positions will see how best to include their fellow human beings in God's Vineyard of Leadership at all levels. The quest for this book is to see women and youth who are involved at the grassroots in congregational work incorporated in all decision structures of the church at large.
