Beschreibung
If truth be told, throughout-the-history and all-around-the-globe, cities and towns have-being-struggling to-manage the-waste, produced by their-residents. Inadequate-Waste-Management has impacted, adversely, on public-health and has caused severe-environmental-degradation. This-book exposed and analyzed the-gaps between the-Legal-foundation-to, and actual-practices-in Solid-Waste-Management (SWM). Chapter-One is addressing Global-scenario, while Chapter-Two is focused on Kenyan-context. The-book presents a-concentrated-digest (synthesized from 470 published-reference-documents), providing a-good-starting point, for readers, interested in-advanced-investigation on the-topic. The cohesive theoretical background, alongside with authors analytical scholarly input, hopefully provides a-credible contribution to-the-body of knowledge, on the-subject-matter, as- well-as a food-for-thought.
