More than 60 derivatives of Cephalosporins are known so far. And there are many more to come. It is important to keep eye on most recent work done so far, because it can give clues about what comes next? many of the cephalosporin derivatives are completely outdates today because presence of higher number of resistant strains all around. Many newly derived molecules have few problems to be solved yet. Recently some significant works are been carried out on various cephalosporin derivatives which gives superficial idea about direction in which further research work need to be done. Our book gives an overall review on most recent developments done on cephalosporin derivatives, which will help to make a clear image of role of cephalosporins in present day and possible new uses in future.
