However, opportunities for learning can be found in nearly every aspect of our lives. Consequently, research into the many dimensions and multiple facets of education is expanding. This book presents nine essays covering a diverse range of issues in contemporary education. The topics focused on include educational leadership, research paradigms and data collection techniques in educational inquiry, issues in professional development, curriculum management, and the implementation of extra-curricular educational courses.

James Bury has masters degrees in both English Linguistics and Education. He has taught in a range of universities, colleges and schools across Europe and Asia. Anthony Sellick holds masters degrees in both Psychology and Education. He has taught in primary, secondary, and tertiary educational institutions in Japan.
