Beschreibung

This work is a result of a study conducted to investigate factors that affect access to quality primary education by the physically challenged (PC) pupils in Kenya. The study used 6 head teachers, 36 teachers and 109 non-disabled pupils. Analyses of data collected established that many factors hamper provision of quality primary education to the PC pupils. The book is organized into five chapters. Chapter one presents the introduction of the study, its background and other relevant aspects. Chapter two captures the literature review under which various issues related to education and in particular SNE are discussed. In chapter three the research methodology is explained. The research design, the study population, research sample, sampling techniques and instruments are given. Chapter four encompasses data analysis and gives an over view of the findings of the study. Figures and frequency tables are used to summarize and illustrate the findings of the study. Finally chapter five gives the summary of research findings, conclusions and recommendations.
