Beschreibung
The present study has been undertaken with the view to understanding prevalence of obesity among school children in relation to their calories intake, physical activity and socioeconomic status among 1200 adolescent boys aged from 12 to 18 years attending various governments, private and residential schools. The study was conducted in two different places that were Kashmir region and Malwa region of Jammu & Kashmir state and Punjab state respectively. Total thirty Schools were selected from two regions, fifteen from each. Out of thirty schools ten were government, ten were private and rest of the ten were residential. The schools were selected by using purposive sampling technique.
